I didn't know for a long time that there was version of the DVD The Secret that featured Abraham - via Esther Hicks. I think I'm going to try to get a copy at Ebay. In the video which is posted in second half of this blog, Abraham (via Esther) explains why there are two versions of "The Secret" DVD and why Abraham is no longer in the video.

A Novel Approach

I just finished listening to an audiobook that was over 15 hours long. It took several trips back and forth from work to hear the whole book. This was the first time I’ve ever listened to an actual novel. Most of the podcasts and audiobooks I’ve listened to in the past were self-improvement and motivational type recordings. So this was definitely a different type of listening for me.
I been hooked on IPod type recordings for quite a while now, every since I “borrowed” my sons IPod.
On this occasion, the book I chose to listen to was an action/mystery/fantasy type novel, filled with joy, love, death and deceit. I have to admit I was hooked early on after listening to the first chapter of this book. I found myself listening to it on the way to work, at lunch, on the way home from work and even on trips to the grocery store.

Meditation just seems to help work things out

I have always been interested in religion and philosophy. Over the years I have gathered a plethora of books and articles on every subject. Everything from the Bible to some of those really weird new age books that you hide from your religious friends.
I found that I started to adopt many of the mindsets and practices in these books and make them my own. These new ideas just seemed to make sense to me, far more sense than the stuff I learned in Sunday school.
