Many years ago, before I met my one and only, I invited a lady I met to go flying with me and have lunch.
When you're a pilot, finding a mate that will love aviation as much as you do is pretty tough. Even if you meet someone that says they like flying, it's not always true. Many times a prospective mate will say anything to make you happy, to keep you interested in them. Then after the marriage, things change and the truth comes out. They may finally admit that flying is too scary after all. At times there can also be some resentment towards the other woman in your life, your airplane.

Being in a loving relationship with someone is truly one of the greatest adventures in life. Especially those warm fuzzy feelings you feel at the beginning, are wonderfully delicious. At this point in any relationship, life if just great. Both parties have a heightened awareness of the others needs and desires, more than willing to do for the other.
